I first came to Hay in the late 70’s and it has felt like home ever since despite not returning to live here permanently until 2008. My early career was spent in television and films in London and then in the early noughties I opened my first art gallery in Ripley, Surrey alongside my very popular NEAC art workshops. Moving to a smallholding, just outside Hay, meant leaving my gallery days behind me but in 2014, whilst walking for six weeks on the Camino to Santiago in Northern Spain, I resolved that I would open my doors once again to the art world and to my own creativity.

I have held exhibitions at my art gallery The Table for the past ten years and often the paintings from these exhibitions will remain with me and I hang them at home or in the Atelier for my guests to enjoy.

I have a second home on the island of Tobago where I have been living for long periods working with local primary schools on art projects as well as playing with my own artistic practice of writing and painting alongside swimming and snorkelling.
